First off, I'd like to say that I'm surprised at the amount of interest in the Totally WWII jersey concept. I figured it would just be some "filler" until the third jersey and new logo news started to roll in!

Here is a sneak-preview of one of the teams that I am working on. Can you guess who it is? The person who guesses correctly gets a virtual high-five. (Hey, gimme a break, I just mailed out a Gretzky Oilers jersey and $50 for my last contest! And it's not like it's THAT hard to guess this one...)
I had initially planned to have all of the designs unveiled before or right after the July 4th holiday, but since there's a little bit of attention being paid to this series, I figured I'd work on each one a bit longer. I'll probably release them in stages as well. That way there's time for discussion and possible tweaks based off of any good suggestions. (I delete all douchey comments).
The first unveiling—next week sometime—will either be Team Imperial Japan, the Soviet Union or Team USA.

Got another cool set of concepts by Mike Ivall Design. You can check them out on the Concepts page here. I like Alt concept 1 the most. I really like how he designed the shoulder yoke and front stripes to form the letter "T". Good job as always, Mike.

Ok, I'm pretty sure that's it until Monday, unless some cool jersey/logo news comes in between Friday and Sunday.
I have a full plate of traveling this weekend with the band. If you're up in the Woodbridge, CT area Friday night, come out to Amity Lanes to see American Speedway. I'll buy you a beer if you come up to me and tell me my blog sucks! (I'll be in the cowboy hat, homeboy.)
Then it's off to the RailRoad Bar on Saturday (Linfield, PA) for the annual AstroMonkey Car Show and Band-A-Palooza dealy. Good times. Beer. Lots of bands.
