Koho, a frequent commenter here, suggested that I try sampling a shade of green from the duck for the jersey color instead of the teal. Here are two different looks, using a forest greenish primary color instead. Actually, I can't really narrow down exactly what color green it is that I initially used. Searching for teal green, teal blue, and midnight green produced MANY different results online. I'll leave that up to the color experts to chime in here. Anyway Koho—here ya go, buddy. Feel free to use the comments section and let me know which version you like the best. I'm sticking with my original selection...

It is much more "ducky"

I would probably have to go in and adjust the crest to accommodate the new green jersey, but I'm still sticking with my original version. Not to say this green is bad - i'm actually surprised that i like it.

I like the more standard green instead of the teal, but with the dark teal collar. However, I would make the empty space above the duck whatever color green the home jersey would be. Any chance we're going to see what a road jersey would look like? Also, its kinda tough to see what the collar/yoke/sleeve pattern looks like with the jersey folded that way, could you try a different template that spreads the arm out in a way you could see it?

MastrSplintr, that's what I meant by adjusting the crest to accommodate the green jersey. Just didn't have a chance to do that till now. The dark area above the duck now matches the green of the new jersey.
As for creating a new template - that's not gonna happen. I really hate concepts designed in that "jesus pose" jersey. I like the art of designing a concept where the jersey looks like it is being worn or presented on whatever that headless/legless mannequin thing is called.

I like this jersey version a lot better than the emerald green. However, when looking at whats more 80s I'm not sure which fits better because the emerald green is close to teal and that's so 90s. But the 80s had the Minnesota North Stars and Hartford Whalers that both used a similar shade of green to this version. I would see the jersey above on the right fitting better into the 80s than the other two versions. The emerald green jersey has a 90s feel and the above jersey on the left looks like a jersey that would be around today because of the addition of a dark color to the jersey.
