Well, I'm back.
I took a break from PuckDrawn a little while back due to burning the proverbial candle at both ends.
Let me just say that buying a home was absolutely the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life. Time consuming and mentally draining. On top of that, my band was playing way too many shows - all while trying to sneak in studio time to record the new album.
Without going into boring detail I'll briefly fill you in on how I have time to dedicate to PuckDrawn again.
I'm fully moved into my new home and I have retired from music for a good while. I have two shows left with American Speedway and it's quite a relief. There were just too many weekends wasted in a van, with four other dudes, with nothing to show for it.
A decision becomes easy on a weekend where you play a show in D.C. for FORTY FOUR DOLLARS, then head to Richmond, Virginia to play in the middle of some DuckPin bowling alley, for the two other bands, 7 paying customers, and annoyed DuckPin bowlers.
So, I'm retired from music (for now), am settled in nicely in the new home, and ready to get back into the swing of things here at PuckDrawn.
Here's hoping there's still some interest...
