Official Rules and Compensation Info:
The All-American Hockey League needs a logo for the 2010 Davidson Cup Playoffs.
The rules are pretty straight-forward, but if you have any questions, ask them in the comments section and I'll try to get you the answer a.s.a.p.
Compensation:
- $250.00
- 2010 AAHL Playoffs logo Merchandise
- Exclusive rights to be the official AAHL logo and media designer
Criteria:
- Must have either the AAHL logo or Name in the logo
- Must be Red white and blue
- Must be able to change and use every year
- Must have the cup shown in the logo
- Name of trophy: Davidson Cup
- Deadline: March 15th, 2010
- E-mail your entry to: PuckDrawn@yahoo.com
Unfortunately, the AAHL does not have a vector logo file, or a transparent logo, so you'll have to make due with the images that are available. Click the link below for the official logo and photo of the Davidson Cup for design reference.
Here's a photo of the Davidson Cup.

This is the official logo contest page, so as each design entry comes in, I'll be posting them here.
The winner will be decided by the AAHL, so there will be no poll here. However, the comments will be open for critiques and criticisms.
Good luck!
By the way, here's last year's logo.

Can it be hand drawen?

Kimberly, The design -idealy- should be an Adobe Illustrator file. Or at the very least, a high resolution Adobe Photoshop PSD/JPG/TIFF/PNG file.
However, I will still post your hand drawn design if you decide to go that route.

@ CBS-Ink
3 options? Cheater! :P
I like the 3rd option the best, most unique layout style yet

WOW! Chad B. Stilson's designs are the best by far, my fav out of his group is option A, a very clean, professional looking design. Thats your winner if you ask me.

the quality of most of the contributions is way better than their own league logo. :) they really should consider an overhaul, giving you guys the next opportunity to show off your skills. ;)

@vlad -
You're right and they agree. Stay tuned.

Another very good Concept to add to the list in Lonnie Walker's design, the AAHL group will have a tough decision to make here.

Congrats Johnny. I was thinking could you put a poll on these concepts too. I was just curious on what people thought of them.
