Canada Vs USA - Voting Time!

The Canada Vs USA uniform design competition if finally down to two teams. Take a look at the winners for USA and for CANADA, then cast your final vote at the bottom of this blog entry!

Thanks to everyone who submitted their designs for this competition. Really, there were a lot of great submissions and it was fun to track the voting and see the results compared to my favorites.

And now the results:

Out of 193 votes cast, HAFILAX received 61 votes (32%) with his USA entry: The Frontier Bison

  

And out of 170 votes cast, HAFILAX received 30 votes (18%) for his CANADA entry: The Alberta Red Serge

  

Well, we know the winner will be a design submitted by HAFILAX, but which one?

Canada Vs USA - Voting Time For USA Design!

The voting for the CANADA vs USA uniform design competition began yesterday, and continues today with the USA entries.

The voting will be open until December 31st (Winter Classic Eve). That's the voting period which will decide the best Canadian and USA design.

I will then pit the best Canadian design against the best USA design at the opening puck drop of the Winter Classic. When the final buzzer sounds, the team with the most votes wins the contest!

I don't know if it's because there are more designers in Canada that read this blog or what, but there were significantly more CANADA design submissions than USA. It would have been nice to see an even amount of submissions for each side, but when I closed the doors here for a little while, there wasn't much of a chance for people to keep submitting.

Anyway...

There are a lot of talented designers out there and I'm very happy with the quality of work that was submitted.

The Winter Classic is just about upon us, and since that's the day the winner is picked, I figured I'd get the voting started now!

Here's how it's gonna shake out:

The voting for Canada begins today, followed by USA tomorrow. The voting will be open until December 31st (Winter Classic Eve). That's the voting period which will decide the best Canadian and USA design.

Canada Vs USA - Southwest Bighorns

I almost forgot about this little competition... The Canada Vs USA concept design challenge.

Koho just sent in this Southwest Bighorns design that reminded me all about it.

Like he said in his email, he usually submits vintage looking designs, but wanted to try something new with this Reebok style.

Not sure how I feel about the gradient, but I do like the home jersey a lot.

Canada Vs USA - Northern Narwhals
