OVERVIEW
This was a friendly competition where graphic designers were tasked to update and modernize the logos and uniforms of a WHA team (or teams) of their choosing. The winners were chosen by fan voting, through a simple bracket system.

What if I decide to use the name Alberta Oilers instead of Edmonton Oilers because they were known by that first, is that fine? because my concept wouldn't work then if I had to use Edmonton in the name.

Koho, that's totally fine.

@Ethan -
What design program are you using?
Basically, I am looking for JUST your logo, but I don't want a white background. I want to be able to place the winning logos on the bracket graphic. See how the logos appear on the bottom? No white background. That's what I'm looking for.

@Ethan -
The 200x200pixel with transparent background is just a side item.
For the main presentation graphic, just follow the rules as stated above.

Would it be wrong if I used the University of Minnesota's M logo in different colors in my Minnesota Fighting Saints logo? I can easily go with another style M if it's not okay.

@Koho -
I have no problem with that - as long as your logo is not JUST a recolored UofM "M".

I won't make it exactly like the UofM logo, but you can definitely tell it was inspired by it.

I opine that to get the loans from creditors you should present a firm motivation. But, once I've received a consolidation loan, just because I wanted to buy a car.
